Special Needs?

On relfection on my past 6 weeks in the US I have realised that for the 3 times I did the check-in for a hotel room by myself- I have been given a disabled room.

For those of you who do not know me I am not physically disabled.

Is there something about me that screams out 'special needs'? Grant (the brother) am I 'special' :-) Does the Australian accent lead to this allocation?

Having a seat in the shower can always be handy I suppose.....

Often I am asked if we have running water in Australia. Maybe this is related somehow?

Sophy was asked over here if we have paper towels in Australia (as in the kitchen towels). She said yes- we get the kangaroos to hold out their paws and dispense them. I was proud of her!
