Janine's 2005 US Trip- Camp Calcium!

From June 18, 2005 until August 6th, 2005 West Australian Janine Wright will be visiting Purdue University, Indiana, USA to participate in Camp Calcium- a calcium metabolic study (run out of an educational and recreational summer camp) for thirty American Chinese 14-15 year olds. Her Curtin colleagues Deb Kerr and Sophy Porter will be joining her. On her 4th trip to the US Janine is hoping to find a good cup of tea......

Sophy and her Indiana friends



This picture is taken from last Saturday's visit to the Lafayette Farmer's markets. here are two of the 'Farmers!'. They had asked if they could come back with us to Australia- and we willing to accept taking a photo of them back to Australia as a substitute. I have already raved about the Lafayette Farmers markets in previous posts. Some more photos are coming. This was my last visit to the markets for this trip....as I will be making my long journey home to Australia this coming Saturday.....

Hi: Before leaving Pudue, please update me of what's going on at the camp calcium, especially the second talent show of all Asian campers. I would like to see some pictures if you took that.
